FAQs
What kind of consulting do you do?
I provide personal, professional, and policy consulting designed to help individuals and organizations clarify goals, overcome challenges, and create actionable plans. My work draws on my experience in law, leadership, and advocacy to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence. I can assist if you are looking for the following:
Career strategy consulting
Leadership coaching for professionals
Faith-based personal growth consulting
Mindset and boundary coaching
Executive clarity sessions
Consulting for attorneys and small business owners
How is consulting different from legal advice?
Consulting focuses on strategy, mindset, and planning, not on legal representation. While I am an attorney, consulting sessions through The Barrow Collective are not legal services and do not create an attorney-client relationship. If you need legal advice, I’ll be happy to refer you to my law firm, Vault Legal Group, or another trusted attorney.
Who do you work with?
I work with professionals, leaders, creatives, and organizations seeking guidance during times of transition, growth, or challenge. My clients include small business owners, attorneys, advocates, and individuals seeking clarity in their personal or professional direction.
If you are struggling with the following, feel free to set up an exploratory call:
Career change
Redefining Leadership
Rebuilding confidence after burnout
How do I schedule a session?
You can book directly through the “Schedule a Call” link on the homepage. I offer free 15-minute discovery calls to help determine whether my consulting services are the right fit for you.
What happens in a typical consulting session?
Each session begins with defining your goals and ends with a clear set of next steps. We may discuss mindset, strategy, boundaries, or communication patterns depending on your focus area.
Do you meet in person or virtually?
Most sessions are held virtually, but in-person meetings may be available by request in the Louisville or Southern Indiana area.
How long are sessions?
Initial sessions typically last 60 minutes. Shorter or ongoing packages may be customized based on your needs.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Although these are not legal services and not protected by attorney-client privilege, I maintain strict confidentiality under an optional Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for consulting clients. This ensures your privacy and builds a foundation of trust similar to, but separate from, legal privilege you might expect from a lawyer.
Can I record our sessions?
For privacy reasons, I do not allow recordings of sessions unless discussed and agreed upon in writing.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are not available after a session is completed. However, you may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available for longer-term consulting packages or group programs.
Do you work with organizations or just individuals?
Both. I provide organizational consulting for leadership teams, nonprofits, and businesses looking to improve communication, culture, and strategy.
Can you speak at my event or retreat?
Yes! I regularly speak on topics such as resilience, leadership, and navigating change. Please contact me through the booking form for speaking engagements.
Can I transition from consulting to legal services later?
Yes, if your needs change. We’ll create a separate legal engagement under my law firm with clear boundaries and documentation.
Does working with you make me your client in a legal sense?
No. Consulting is separate from my law practice. Participation in consulting sessions does not establish an attorney-client relationship. You will never be billed for or receive legal advice unless we enter into a separate written agreement through Vault Legal Group.
